My editor says I need to not tell jokes that only a handful of people (Marines) get, so, lemme ‘splain. MP’s are military police, and while I have many friends that were MPs…

…well, here’s an example; on Camp Lejeune in the early nineties, there was an MP notorious for handing out speeding and other traffic tickets on base. His personal car was a suped-up, Mustang 5.0, white with red racing stripes and custom plates that read, “RACE ME.” Boy that guy loved turning in other Marines though.
