Cold Turkey
So a little explanation is in order here. For those that don’t know, I ran a small webcomic back in 2003 called Frogmen. It was during the early years of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and it was about a group of… frogmen. Navy SEALs drawn as actual frogs. I had big plans for it and it got a little notoriety among Navy personal and many of my friends in the Marines and other services. Alas, life happened, I reenlisted myself, got out, raised kids, etc…
Since I started this new strip up, I’ve been asked on multiple occasions lately if we’re going to see a crossover and it got me thinking. What would a Navy LT be doing some 16 years later? Why he’d be teaching at the Naval Academy and talking at high schools about their great engineering degrees. So for all of you that have asked and that have been so complimentary about my Frogmen and this new endeavor, this one’s for all of you.
Also, so I don’t catch hell for highlighting the Navy on the Marine Corps Birthday, Happy Birthday to all my fellow Jarheads out there.
