I’d say Tim’s bought into the lifestyle 100% by now! I’m pretty sure it’s all a joke because Tim and Joy’s mom would kill him, AND me!
I sent Tim to aircrewman school in honor of a drill instructor I had, that had a great influence on me. Very few of them would get into anything too deep but this one, told us that he was an aircrewman on the old Huey’s and had flown out of Beruit months before the 1983 barracks attack and how he lost a lot of good friends there. It kinda solidified my decision to have joined. Anyway, the UH1s are gone and now the Corps uses the V22 Ospreys. Yut!
